Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the criminal activity of holding another person for the purposes of exploitation through forced labor and sex trafficking. Many experts view human trafficking as the second greatest criminal enterprise in the world, second only to the illegal sale of drugs.
Hope Unlimited provides victim advocacy services as well as referrals to other resources to aid sex trafficking victims in healing and empowerment.  Human trafficking is not unique to urban areas. Rural communities are also vulnerable to human trafficking where it may be harder to detect and address.
